KING Cetshwayo District Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi honoured a number of locals flying the district’s flag high during a Business Breakfast at the Protea Hotel Waterfront.
Mkhulisi congratulated artists from the district Khuzani Mpungose, Qhoshangokwenzakwakhe and Magcwabe on their success and for excelling in the various award ceremonies and respective categories they were nominated for nationally.
She expressed gratitude towards them for acknowledging the district during their acceptance speeches at the award ceremonies, applauding them for not forgetting where they come from.
Mkhulisi also thanked Easy Way Driving School for sponsoring three recipients with driving licence tuition vouchers which includes Learners, Drivers and Vehicle Hire Fees.
‘This is a great way to seal our Transport Month,’ she said.
The mayor further acknowledged the support she receives from her staff and their ability to work in unity to ensure successful planning and execution of campaigns as well as community outreach programmes.
