Golfing charity ‘fore’ all!

THE golfing fraternity is being called upon to embrace their passion for the sport and team up with DICE, who have a passion for support.

A DICE sponsored 4-Ball Better Ball golf day fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, 25 November at the Empangeni Country Club.

The funds raised at the event will be used to help improve the lives of people in our community who are facing heart-rending challenges.

This event is in aid of providing Christmas cheer to those who need help the most.

‘Funds raised will go towards buying food for child-headed families, as well as our local seniors,’ said DICE founder Reg Anthony.

‘We intend to donate as many food buckets as we possibly can – the target being 1 000 buckets of Christmas goodies – that will be distributed to the very needy ahead of Christmas.

‘To do this, we need each and every person’s help, be it to play golf on the day, make a donation, or provide prizes, all of which will go a long way to help us reach our target,’ she said.
