MOUNTIES Emergency Rescue Services recently held a SAPS appreciation day and gave back to the men in blue who tirelessly dedicate their time and effort towards community safety.
Mounties owner Joseph Kruger said it was a day of showing gratitude to police officers members for their hard work. ‘This is just one of many appreciation days that Mounties has planned for various units in the area.’
Empangeni SAPS members were treated to refreshments supplied by Mounties in conjunction with various sponsors.
‘I want to thank Andrews Central Spar, Ritchie Ford, Sunshine Blinds, Nico’s Pop In Supermarket, Bluff Meat Supply and the Zululand Observer for coming on board in support of this initiative,’ Kruger said.
The next appreciation day is planned with the Fire Department on 20 October.
