And charity fore all!

GOLFERS, through their sport, have the ability to improve the lives of people who are facing heart-rending challenges in our community.

With the need so great in Zululand, and with the very kind assistance of the Empangeni Country Club’s Shaun Francis and Rika Strydom, a DICE sponsored 4-Ball Better Ball golf day fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, 25 November.

This event is in lieu of providing Christmas cheer to those who need our help the most.

‘Funds raised will go towards buying food for child-headed families, as well as our local seniors,’ said DICE founder Reg Anthony.

‘We intend to donate as many food buckets as we possibly can – the target being 1 000 buckets of Christmas goodies – that will be distributed to the very needy ahead of Christmas.

‘To do this, we need each and every person’s help, be it to play golf on the day, make a donation, or provide prizes, all of which will go a long way to help us to reach our target,’ she said.

Should you require further information or wish to make a booking or sponsor prizes, contact Shaun Francis on shaun.sugarhill@gmail.com (0734912362), or Rika Strydom at andrestry@vodamail.co.za (0828561412).

Should you wish to make a donation do so via an EFT to DICE (Do I Care Enough?) Organisation, ABSA Bank, Branch: 63 20 05, Account: 1020471111 with reference ‘Christmas Cheer’, and forward proof of payment to Bronwyn Roets at dice@zob.co.za.

‘Please help us to improve the lives of many who are destitute,’ concluded Anthony.

DICE is synonymous with the care of many, and its mission is the upliftment of people irrespective of race, colour or creed.
