Potjie competition for game lovers
Book now to be able to camp under the stars in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve

EVER wanted to camp in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve under a canopy of stars and surrounded by the night sounds of the wild?
Now is your chance, but only for a limited number of people, so book early.
The iMfolozi Honorary Officers are hosting a potjie competition from 30 September to 4 October.
A temporary campsite will be built, and those wanting to enter the competition can camp from 29 September to 9 October.
There are only 50 sites available, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
The campsite will be built with a four-line electric fence to keep out the animals, and there will be rustic open sky showers and portable toilets.
There will not be any electrical points.
With separate competitions for different age groups, the adults’ potjie competition will kick off the week on 30 September, followed by a competition for the under 16s on 4 October and a second adults’ competition on 7 October.
Buffalo meat will be supplied by the honorary officers and the entry fee is R300 per pot.
For more information, or to book, contact Stewart Chislett (Vice Chairman) on 082 6564985.
