Vodacom customers anger over data, airtime disappearance

Vodacom has apologised and promised to reimburse customers

An apology from Vodacom was not enough to calm the anger of customers who demanded answers for their disappearing data bundles.

This after customers complained on Monday night that their data had mysteriously disappeared and demanded to be reimbursed.

Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula and former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela joined many customers who lashed out at the mobile network provider for the ‘stolen data’.

Vodacom has since apologised for the incident, stating that they are ‘committed to ensuring that all affected customers will be refunded in full’.
