The competition proved immensely popular and we now have our winners
THE votes are in and the public has decided.
We can now reveal the winners of the #ZOPetSelfie competition.
We first would like to thank everyone who entered their best pet selfies.
From the competition’s opening date to its closing date, the entries came streaming in, proving what a pet-loving community Zululanders are.
While the majority of entries were of owners with their dogs, there were also quite a few cat entries and even a snake, a gerbil, some fish and a horse.
Congratulations go out to the following competition winners:
Overall winner (with a staggering 229 votes): Nicole and Deigo (# 69)
Second place: Londiwe and Makoto (# 60)
Third place: Anushka and Snowy (# 7).
The entry with the highest number of newspaper votes (not online): Tionne and Cocoa (# 91)
