A shocking video of a high school girl being brutally assaulted by a young man has emerged online.

While the school, schoolgirl and attacker are yet to be identified, initial reports suggested the school is in the Zululand region.

The King Cetshwayo District Department of Education is investigating the matter to determine the facts.

The video emerged on Twitter a day after the country celebrated Women’s Day, and attracted huge public reaction, demanding something must be done.
