All set for Nkandla Mayoral Cup
The mayor extended an open invitation to all citizens of Nkandla to visit the sport complex and enjoy the games
IT’S all systems go for the Nkandla Mayoral Cup where different soccer teams from this municipality will fight for the trophy at the Nkandla sport complex on 5 August.
PSL and NFD giants AmaZulu and Jomo Cosmos will entertain the community before the final. Mayor Thami Ntuli confirmed that R1-million has been put aside to upgrade the sports field.
‘Our aim is produce players from our municipality who will rise to the ranks of the PSL and NFD because there is plenty of talent here, even though we are in a rural area. We are also going to select players from our clubs who will play against the squad from uKhozi FM as the last game of the day.’
