Teen drowning unnoticed

THE drowning of a 19-year-old female at the Bay Hall yesterday afternoon went unnoticed for almost an hour before she was discovered.

According to reports from the scene, the teen was declared dead by paramedics, despite attempts to resuscitate her.

Tracey Coerste of Meditrax told the ZO the drown victim was discovered when her family were getting ready to leave and began looking for her.
