Visit Richards Bay SPCA to find a beautiful family pet

THESE are just some of the beautiful dogs and cats up for adoption at the Richards Bay SPCA.

This female boerbul cross has been at the Richards Bay SPCA since May and is desperately looking for a loving home. She is a loving, affectionate, playful and gentle-natured dog who would make an ideal family pet. She is about six months old and is good with other animals. She can be found in kennel C1 at Richards Bay SPCA.

A strict adoption procedure applies.

Prospective owners must complete an adoption application form, after which SPCA inspectors undertake a property inspection.

If approved, the following fees apply: adoption fee for a dog is R750 and for a cat it is R550.

This adult male cCcker spaniel has been at Richards Bay SPCA since the end of June. He is a very friendly dog with a calm, gentle nature and is looking to be adopted into a loving home. He can be found in kennel C4 at Richards Bay SPCA.

Please note this is a once-off fee which includes your new pet’s first 5-in-1 vaccination, a rabies vaccination, it will be de-wormed, sterilised (if older than six months) and given an SPCA identification tag.

For pets adopted at younger than six months of age, a sterilisation contract applies.

This male black labrador is only seven months old and was recently surrendered to Richards Bay SPCA. He is a well mannered dog with a gentle nature and is looking for a loving home. He is good with other animals. He can be found in kennel C12 at Richards Bay SPCA.

Richards Bay SPCA is in need of food donations of wet and dry food for cats and dogs, kittens and puppies, as well as chicken grain for the feathered residents.

These beautiful kittens are brother and sister and are about six weeks old. They are affectionate, playful and looking for a loving home. They have been at Richards Bay SPCA since the beginning of July and are now up for adoption. They can both be found in kennel N11 at Richards Bay SPCA.

Donations of food or money can be dropped off at the SPCA premises in Meerensee or, alternatively, financial donations can be deposited into their bank account:
