A LOCAL woman says she will never be able to describe the pain of waking up in a hospital bed to be told her womb had been removed and she would never have more children.

She says it is a pain she would ‘never wish on my worst enemy.’

‘In 1996 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy via C-Section, my pride and joy!’I was only 19 years old when I fell I pregnant. Despite being young, my husband and I – we married in 2003 – were very excited.

I went into labour and was transferred to hospital because I was told I couldn’t give birth naturally.

So I had to give birth via C-Section. ‘A few days later I was discharged and took my baby home.

Everything was fine until I started feeling a lot of pain in my abdominal area days later.
