Human trafficking alarm in ongoing boy search
Human trafficking awareness team Freedom Generation continues to raise awareness on missing children and young fallen victims
IT’S been a year since the disappearance of Maneliswa Ntombela from uMkhobose in eSikhaleni, a four-year-old boy with albinism. And human trafficking awareness team Freedom Generation continues to raise awareness on missing children and young fallen victims.
Spreading the word on organ trafficking with teenagers of the youth initiative, A Work of Love (AWOL) at Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping on Friday, Freedom Generation’s Pastor Caroline Pitout said there is still no update on the young missing albino boy who was last seen on 21 June 2016.
Maneliswa was reportedly abducted by unknown men travelling in a silver double-cab bakkie and it was alleged his kidnappers aimed to use his body for muti.

The young lad was apparently playing with his cousin outside a church service tent next to KwaMpanza rental cottages at 7pm when the incident occurred.
‘There are many who are still missing and we have heard rumours of more organ trafficking incidents.
‘Awareness must continue and we encourage the community to report all cases to police but we cannot forgot about all those who have been victims of human trafficking.
‘Through this awareness at the shopping centre, 10 teenagers of AWOl assisted to distribute hundreds of pamphlets, pasted information posters in the centre’s bathrooms as well as engaging with shoppers on the reality of human trafficking,’ said Caroline.
