Nongoma taxi associations make peace

A DISPUTE between two Nongoma taxi associations has hopefully come to an end following the signing of a memorandum of understanding last week.

MEC of Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda, was involved in the agreement.

Kaunda said he was pleased with the progress and appealed to the associations to put the interests of commuters first.

Although not all members are believed to be satisfied with the peace deal, Kaunda encouraged them to work together for the benefit of the industry and the commuters.
