Meeting to promote closer NGO and NPO co-operation

TO encourage Zululand NGOs and NPOs to work more closely together, and for each to gain a better understanding of the others’ work, the Suid-Afrikaanse Vrouefederasie (SAVF) Richards Bay branch is organising an NPO get-together on 16 September at the Veldenvlei Community Hall.

‘There are so many NGOs and NPOs in our area, but not all of us know what the others offer or who they support,’ said SAVF’s Irma Dreyer.

‘We would be better placed to join forces when necessary or to refer those needing help to the correct group. ‘We want this event to be an enjoyable, informal one where we all just get to know each other,  which will be for the benefit of the communities we serve.’
