Transnet invites small and emerging enterprises to tender workshop in Empangeni

Transnet Freight Rail invites all small and emerging enterprises to submit their relevant company details in order to expand its tender capabilities to businesses in South Africa.

Richards Bay and Empangeni suppliers are invited to the local workshop that will take place at the Protea Hotel in Empangeni on Wednesday, 7 June.

Only those who apply beforehand will be invited to attend the workshop.

These supplier workshops are for existing and new suppliers to clarify the following:

• The structure of Transnet
• Transnet’s tendering processes
• Transnet’s approach to Black Economic Empowerment and Supplier Development
• Getting hold of Transnet’s tender documents
• Understanding tender documents
• Information to submit with tender responses
• Tips for successful tendering
