False Facebook post defames eNseleni woman

A circulating warning to be cautious of her has left Nothando devastated

A ZULULAND woman says she is being falsely accused of working with two men allegedly killing people in the area to harvest their body parts.

Nothando Mthethwa (37) from eNseleni opened a criminal case at the Richards Bay police station on Monday after her photograph, with a warning that city residents should be cautious of her, started circulating on Facebook.

The post, written in isiZulu, warns the ‘community of Empangeni and Richards Bay to be careful of this woman who sits in town.

‘She is working with two men from Gauteng who are looking for human body parts. If you see her make sure you are in a safe place. Many people have fallen victim because of her’.

Speaking on her behalf, Nothando’s brother Thulebona denied the claims.

‘These are complete lies. I know my sister. She would not be involved in something like this. She barely leaves the house.’
