Three people were injured in an accident at the R34 and R102 intersection in Empangeni this afternoon (Monday).

The collision between a Nissan 1400 bakkie, Ford Ranger and Toyota Corolla left the drivers with minor injuries and they were treated on the scene by paramedics.

The cause of the crash is not yet known and police are on the scene for further investigation.
