Richards Bay infant recovering after last week’s life-saving resuscitation

While the baby is stable, he is undergoing numerous tests in hospital

TINY Keanu Heine, the Richards Bay baby who last Friday underwent emergency resuscitation while en route to hospital, is stable and recovering in hospital.

At just two weeks old at the time of the incident, and born prematurely with his twin sister Kylie, Keanu stopped breathing after his bath, in what doctors have referred to as an ‘apnoea spell’.
