One school learner died and 23 were critically injured when the bakkie they transported in overturned.
IN a horrific accident near the Qudeni eKhombe area on Tuesday afternoon, one school learner died and 23 were critically injured when the bakkie they transported in overturned.
The driver was also critically injured.
It is believed the driver of the vehicle had offered the learners, who were hitchhiking, a lift. He lost control and the bakkie left the road, hurtled down an embankment and landed on its side in a donga.
