Richards Bay doctor recovering well

Messages of concern have been flooding in for the popular Meerensee doctor

DOCTOR Roodt, who has received many messages of support from the Richards Bay community since his heart attack, is on the road to recovery and improving everyday.

The popular doctor, who works out of the Meerensee Medical Centre, suffered a heart attack last week after undergoing surgery for fractured bones in his foot.

He has since been in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Netcare The Bay Hospital and has not been allowed visitors.

As of yesterday (Sunday) morning, Dr Roodt is reportedly recovering well and is in good spirits.
It is thought he will remain in ICU for the remainder of this week.

The Roodt family is grateful for all the love and support from concerned family members, friends and neighbours.
