Find me somebody to love – SPCA

These beautiful cats and dogs are waiting for their new families at the Empangeni SPCA

THESE animals are just some of those at Empangeni SPCA that are up for adoption and waiting for new owners to take them to loving homes.

While most of the cats available to adopt are young kittens, there are also adult cats, mostly young adults, also waiting to be adopted.

Smartie is a male Fox Terrier cross of about four or five years old and has been at Empangeni SPCA for one month. He was brought in as a stray. Smartie has a gentle nature and is good with other dogs. Smartie is looking for a loving home and can be found in kennel S4.

All dogs at Empangeni SPCA walk well on leads, courtesy of Empangeni Dog Club, and all dogs adopted from this SPCA get a free beginners training course at the Empangeni Dog Club.

There is a strict adoption procedure which includes the completion of an application form, a property inspection and, if approved, the following fees apply: R650 for dogs and R350 for cats.

These three kittens are part of a litter of five, all looking for loving homes. Some have short hair, others have long hair, most are grey and there is one ginger one. They are about three months old. All kittens are very affectionate and playful and are in kennel B

This is a once-off fee and includes sterilisation of the animal, vaccinations and de-worming.

Anyone who wants to donate to Empangeni SPCA is welcome to drop off donations of soft and hard food for dogs and cats, money, blankets, toys and dog collars.

Please note the SPCA’s office number is 071 1744746 as the land line is out of order.

These kittens are about five weeks old and are part of a litter of five. They will be ready for adoption to loving homes in about two weeks’ time. They are in kennel C13
