Boat in deep trouble at Small Craft

POLICE divers were called in to confirm no victims were on board the boat ‘Wagtail’ after it sank in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Tuzi Gazi Small Craft Harbour.
The cause of the incident is under investigation and the area has been cordoned off.
A small amount of diesel leakage was in evidence, but there was no obstruction to regular vessel traffic.
Transnet National Ports Authority will take over the recovery and salvage of the boat.
