Pool players prepare for season at new venue

COMPETITION pool has a new venue and the organisers are looking for players.

Blackball Pool League, which is now under new management and trading as Legends Pool Hall, an affiliate of the South African Confederation of Cue Sport, extends an invitation to all old and new players who wish to register for the 2017 season.

Teams consist of a minimum of five players and can include both males and females.

‘Players who don’t belong to teams are welcome to submit their names at the club and they will be included in teams,’ says Legends Pool Hall owner Jeremy Yenkiah.

‘We also intend to start a Super League, with the winners walking away with prize money as well as a trophy.’

A meeting has been scheduled for 7pm tomorrow (Friday) at Legends Pool Hall (above Alton Liquors) for all players wishing to join the league, and to discuss the league kick-off

A free tournament is scheduled for Sunday, starting at 1pm.

New and development players are welcome and a coaching clinic will be available.

Awards will be issued to the winners and runners-up.
