Best of Zululand Readers’ Choice survey are now open
Voting lines for the annual Best of Zululand Readers’ Choice survey are now open, and will remain open until 16 February 2016.
Now in its seventh year running, the survey is aimed at recognising and rewarding local service excellence, and we encourage the whole community to participate and cast their votes.
You can either submit an original voting form (printed in the Zululand Observer), or complete the survey online at Best of Zululand
How to vote online
Step 1. Go to https://bestofzululand.co.za/ You will see this:
Step 2. Register. You can either register by entering your email address or logging in via Facebook or Twitter. You need to register because we need your details for the readers’ draw. We also need to make sure that every vote that is cast is legit.
Step 3. Select the section in which you want to vote.
There are more than 100 different categories to vote for. To make navigation easier, we have grouped them into sections:
- Living in Zululand
- Shopping
- Services
- Eat, drink and Be Merry
- Kids
- Dining Out
- Glam It Up, and
- DIY Home Improvement
Click here if you want to find out which category is listed where.
Step 3. Complete the whole ballot that pops up.
Please try and cast as many votes as possible, but bear in mind that this might take a bit of time so don’t do this while your boss is waiting for an important report or while dinner is on the stove!
Step 4. ‘Submit’.

For every section you complete, you get one entry into our draw!
The first prize this year is a weekend getaway for four people to Natal Spa and Hot Springs, courtesy of Goodersons Leisure.
The second prize is R1000 cash, sponsored by Zululand Observer.
Third price is five R400 Spar Shopping vouchers, sponsored by Superspar (5 ways, Lakeside, Town Square & Andrews Spar).
Fourth prize is a Leatherman, courtesy of Alpha Security and Patrols Empangeni.
