RICHARDS Bay musician Thokozani Ngema, aka ‘Shakes’, is working on a new single track album.
The popular local kwaito singer is adding a new dimension to his music and is hoping to secure popular big name artists to feature on his new release.
Having been on the entertainment and music scene since 2008, Shakes has not lost hope iof his dream of one day becoming a household name.
His debut album 3G, which was released in 2013, did not do very well and Shakes has been mainly booked for local events only.
‘This year, I’m trying a different style and working on a solo track. I have approached DJ Tira and Professor to feature on it.
‘The music industry is not for the faint-hearted, there is hard work involved and patience and creativity is a must to excell in this field.
‘Despite the challenges, I am determined to succeed as music is my passion and I enjoy being on the entertainment scene,’ said Shakes.
