Double strike for Nobby

Check out the winning images from the Beachcombers Photography Club monthly competition

IMPACTFUL and eye-catching images of wildlife and family pets were exhibited during the monthly Beachcombers Photography Club‘s member competition.

Nobby Clarke took the top spot with his winning wildlife picture ‘Caught by a Bee-eater’, while the open category, which attracted a string of exceptional entries, was won by Gavin Fordham with ‘Cleanse’.

Clark, with his image ‘Basil’, also topped the family pets theme, while Gerrit Dyman was named the Best Junior for his entry ‘Waterfront’.

The next photo challenge in February will feature ‘Landscapes’ and ‘Red’ as the theme.

Visitors and photographers are invited to attend the meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the NSRI base (next to Zululand Yacht Club) in Richards Bay

Induction for new members starts at 6:15pm and the club meeting at 7pm.
