UPDATE: 235km/h speedster appears in court
After being clocked at a reported speed of 235km/h, a Richards Bay man has appeared in court
THE Richards Bay man who was arrested after being clocked driving 235km/h in his Golf TSI on the N2 near Mtunzini on Tuesday, has appeared in court.
Busisani Mlondoh (31) appeared in the Mtunzini Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday where he paid an undisclosed amount for bail.
He is due to appear in court again on 31 January and faces a charge of exceeding the speed limit on a national highway.
Mlondoh was arrested by Gingindlovu Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) officers at around 5pm and his car was impounded.
