Reggae legends pass through the Bay

One of their massive contributions was working for decades with the musical giant Lucky Dube

LEGENDARY reggae music duo Thuthukani Cele and Sister Phumi Maduna recently passed through this region and had a temporary stop at the Zululand Observer Publications offices in Richards Bay.

This pair is currently touring the country and promoting their new albums titled – ‘Eye for my baby’ by Thuthukani and ‘Soul will rise’ by Phumi.

The two vibrant musicians are well-known in the industry, especially for their positive contribution towards reggae music.

One of their massive contributions was working for decades with the musical giant Lucky Dube.

‘We couldn’t come through this area without visiting one of our favourite newspapers. Young artists from this area always boast about the massive support you give them and how the publication always promotes local artists and their crafts,’ said the duo.
