New road for Mandlanzini residents

UPGRADING of the main road through Mandlanzini is progressing slowly but surely.

uMhlathuze municipality is spending about R30-million for the blacktop upgrade of the busy road, contracted to Scribante Construction, who have employed 35 local community members.

The project comprises three phases, each of which will take one year, with the first having started in July.

Ward 4 Councillor Praisegod Zondo called on the community to be patient during the construction period.
