THE King Cetshwayo District ‘Elimination Games’ will take place on Saturday at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex.
The games started at local municipality level last month and will culminate at the SALGA KZN Games in Port Shepstone next month.
Local sportsmen and women will work hard to ensure their selection for the King Cetshwayo squad that will compete.
Municipalities competing on Saturday will be uMfolozi, uMhlathuze, uMlalazi, Mthonjaneni and Nkandla.
There will be 1 245 athletes in action, with 201 technical officials working hard to make things run smoothly.
Competitors will compete in the following sporting codes – boxing, cricket, chess, dance, football, indigenous sport, karate, netball, rugby, swimming, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.
