TWO armed robbers who stormed into a Brackenham house on Monday afternoon, assaulted a five-year-old child and robbed the domestic worker of her cellphone and handbag.
The suspects entered the property in Lobatum Street at about 1pm and then fled the scene on foot.
Within minutes Votella Security and Brackenham Community Crime Watch members responded to the call and searched the greenbelt, to no avail.
They escaped into the greenbelt heading towards Aquadene.
The community has been urged to remain vigilant and to keep doors and gates locked at all times.
