IFP welcomes new members
Gwala praised the new members for realising that the IFP was truly committed to serving their best interests
THE IFP has strengthened its come-back by wooing new members from the ANC and NFP.
Addressing media last week at the Empangeni Civic Centre, IFP National Chairperson Blessed Gwala said welcoming new members was as a result of the coalition between the ANC and NFP which, according to him, failed dismally in providing essential services to the people.
Gwala praised the new members for realising that the IFP was truly committed to serving their best interests.
‘We welcome these new members to a party that has an unblemished track record of clean governance and moral leadership.
‘This further demonstrates that the political landscape in KZN is rapidly changing in favour of the IFP.
‘We, unlike other parties, continue recruiting new members whether there are elections or not.
‘We are motivated by our recent success in the Local Government Elections, where the people of this country unequivocally said the IFP still has a role to play in the South African political landscape,’ he said.
