Format change in darts league

Teams are still competing in two different pools following a round robin format

THERE has been a positive change in the format of the Empangeni Darts Sports League.

Teams are still competing in two different pools following a round robin format.

Each team plays once at home and once away against each side.

Competing teams will then play in quarter-final matches on Wednesday 9 November according to the log rankings, ie team one plays team eight, team two against team seven, and so on.

This change now allows teams that end outside of the top two in their pool to still qualify for the semi-finals, which will be played on Wednesday, 16 November.

The final will be played the following Wednesday (23 November).
