MY fellow journalism students are not happy with the local community newspapers as they claim that these newspapers are failing them by not publishing their stories.
When I first heard this, I asked myself, whose fault is it?
Is it the newspapers, lecturers’ or is it us students who are being swallowed by this challenging assignment.
Newsflash – not every story is newsworthy, not every letter is interesting.
Let us not bad-mouth our community newspapers, they are our source of information.
