TAKE NOTE: Further N2 disruptions expected today

The work is scheduled to begin at 9am until noon

MOTORISTS travelling on the N2 between Mtunzini and Empangeni today (Thursday) can expect traffic delays.

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) and contractor Murray and Roberts Infrastructure said road closures will affect north and south bound traffic simultaneously while a bridge deck is being lifted off its bearings.

The work is scheduled to begin at 9am until noon.

There may be reason to have more than one closure, but the agency said stoppage times will be limited to 10 minutes at a time.

Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and adhere to speed limits.
