POLICE say criminals will have nowhere to hide in eSikhaleni as SAPS is determined to to curb escalating crime with a clean-up campaign.
Last week the operation saw 95 arrests, including a round-up of a hijacking syndicate linked to numerous robberies in KZN.
Through various raids, police recovered several stolen vehicles.
Illegal firearms and drugs were also seized.
According to eSikhawini police spokesperson, Captain Thembinkosi Mkhumane, police are on a mission to end all criminal activities in the area.
‘Our members are determined to ensure we live in a society with less crime. We are still conducting roadblocks and surprise raids to ensure all those who break the law are put behind bars,’ he said.
