Gogo pleads for help

She was left with only the clothes on her back after a fire incident

ONE of Gobandlovu Reserve‘s oldest citizens, Saraphina Mngomezulu, has appealed to the business community of Zululand to assist her with the rebuilding of her house which was gutted by fire last Thursday.

Mngomezulu (87), a pensioner who resides in Ward 14 in uMhlathuze, was left with only the clothes she was wearing after the fire incident.

She works as a cleaner for a Felixton family.

Granddaughter Nonhlanhla Mzolo said the fire, which destroyed their two-roomed house, has left them devastated. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Mzolo said they are appealing to anyone, including non-governmental organisations, to come to their rescue.
She can be contacted on 076 4939230.
