MURDER accused Zibuke Siphesihle Ngcobo and Thamsanqa Ngubane, both 29 years, were sentenced to life imprisonment, plus 15 years each for robbery, in the Nkandla Regional Court last week.
The case arose from an incident on 7 November 2014 in the Mfongosi area.
The two accused held a tuck shop owner, Thokozani Dladla (58), at gunpoint and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash.
They also demanded the car keys and then shot him dead before leaving the scene.
The sentences will run concurrently.
