WHILE searching for a stolen bakkie in eSikhaleni on Friday afternoon, the Empangeni Flying Squad stumbled on criminals of a different kind.
Police members discovered an Asian couple with four crates filled with baby juvenile spotted grunters, mud crabs and prawns reportedly worth more than R100 000.
The two suspects were immediately arrested and the incident was reported to the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for further investigation.
