AFTER succeeding in the recent Eskom Science Expo held at the University of Zululand, five Grantleigh pupils were selected to participate in the International Science Fair (ISF) to be held on 4 to 7 October in Boksburg.
Marcel Beukman, Meagan Scrase, Michael Muller, Meshen Ganesan and Zafre Meyer entered projects on renewable solar water heating, provision of reliable drinking water, wireless energy, speed monitoring satellite interface, and Vitamin C respectively, and will all attend the ISF fully sponsored by the KZN Department of Education.
Grantleigh was also awarded best high school at the expo, as well as the secondary school with the most entries.
