Beer drinking ends in murder

MTUBATUBA SAPS were called to the scene of a serious brawl at a local homestead, but could not prevent a man being stabbed to death.

According to eyewitnesses two men had been drinking beer and a heated argument developed as both claimed they were leaders of prison gangs.

The men then started stabbing each other until one succumbed from his wounds.

The other sustained four stab wounds.

The suspect was rushed to Ngwelezana Hospital where he is under police guard. Mtubatuba SAPS are investigating a case of murder.
