Family fun day at the rugby club

THE Mancosa Empangeni Rugby Football Club will be holding its multi-sport and family day on Saturday, 17 September as part of a club fund-raising iniative.

There is a host of sporting action and great entertainment lined up for the public.

Sport activities that will take place at Addison Park are mountain bike riding (contact Guy on 082 6595520), road running (Roy – 082 9472153), cricket (Paul – 083 6553968) and hockey (Ailsa – 082 5831522).

There will be a touch rugby tournament taking place at Mick Kelly Park (Warren – 083 2528393).

Entertainment planned at Mick Kelly Park includes a Bootcamps uMhlathuze demonstration, Rico the clown, a SAPS dog show, NCS display, local band Angus and fellow musicians Bernie Williams, Hennie Jooste and DJ Peter Gough.

Entry fee is R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12.

Entry to the evening entertainment is included in the sport registration costs for those competing in a sporting event.
There will be market and food stands available at R200 each and car stands for R750.
