Maxwell Nxumalo (27) is relatively new on the bodybuilding scene, having only started in 2013, but he is already notching up some fine competition results.
The latest was an impressive 3rd place at the prestigious IFFB East Coast Classic held recently at UKZN Westville.
Competing in the senior men under 70kg category, the self-trained young eSikhaleni man proved that hard work and dedication do pay off.
‘I get up at 4.30am and train twice a day. I also watch my diet carefully and as a personal trainer I am quite happy to pass on my knowledge to others.

‘I especially want to inspire and steer young people in the right direction by giving them a healthy alternative to the many bad things they are tempted by,’ said Maxwell.
