Richards Bay CPF elects new executive committee

THERE were a number of new faces elected when the Richards Bay Community Policing Forum held its AGM last week.

The election of office bearers was conducted by Fikile Buthelezi of the Department of Safety and Liaison and saw Kenny Mathenjwa voted in as Chairman with Rynie Kearns as Vice Chair.

Other Executive Committee members elected were: Thoko Cebekhulu (Secretary), Jeanette Naicker (Vice Secretary), Rob Sedice (Treasurer) and Dave Savides (PRO).

Additional members from CPF sub-forums not represented on the Exco will be added to the committee.

‘I have big shoes to fill and lots to learn but fortunately I have good, experienced people to help,’ said Mathenjjwa.

‘We will work as a team for continued improvement and all I can promise is to commit myself totally to the long journey ahead.’
