Zululand Trade Fair offers much children's activities

THE mysteries of science will be revealed in a variety of fun and exciting demonstrations when the Unizul Science Centre hosts an interactive exhibition at the Pelican Hall during the Zululand Trade Fair on 24 and 25 June at ZCBF Community Park.
With a number of interactive exhibits and shows, the public will have an opportunity to discover the wonderful world of science under one roof while experiencing hands-on fun science suitable for children from the age of five.
The workshops will provide a platform for youngsters to build something scientific, from circuits to Origami or paper jets.
Now in its 30th year, the Unizulu Science Centre boasts an impressive facility of more than 2 000 square metres and accommodates about 30 000 pupils a year in the centre and a similar number during outreach programmes.
The centre has garnered many awards, including winning the prestigious NSTF Science Award twice, and being a finalist on three occasions.
Meanwhile, the Boardwalk Inkwazi Kids Club will man an arena earmarked for childrens’ entertainment.
A Kids Zone will have jumping castles, sand art, face painting, games, fun races, arts and crafts and guest appearances by popular animated characters Minnie and Mickey Mouse and the three chipmunks.
