Local doctor ‘stable’ after paramotoring crash

Giles will undergo another operation this afternoon

EMPANGENI Homeopath Dr Lance Giles sustained multiple injuries on Sunday after a powered paragliding accident in Mtunzini.

The popular health practitioner, husband, and father of two reportedly suffered a broken femur and a compound fracture of his L5 spinal vertebrae.

Giles was taken to hospital and will undergo another operation this afternoon.

His wife Linda said he is ‘stable and doing well’.
