GUNSHOTS rang out this afternoon inside a small store in Mtubatuba as two thugs opened fire on a 54-year-old man, shooting him in the chest over and over again.
The man was visiting the store to conduct inspections on branded fridges, lost his life in a hail of bullets.
His attackers fled with only his Samsung S4 cell phone.
Police say the shooting occurred at around 1.30pm at the Thule Tuckshop.
At this time no further details can be made available to the public while the name of the deceased, which is known to the Zululand Observer, is being withheld until police can notify next of kin.
