Open mic night for local comedians

COMEDIAN Mangaliso Mhlongo will launch the first Open Mic Comedy night at the Umfolozi Casino in Empangeni next Wednesday.

The initiative is aimed at opening a platform for ‘underground’ comics who want to showcase their talent.

‘The region does not have a platform for upcoming comedians. The show will help them to present their material and familiarise themselves with the stage,’ said Mangaliso.
