Rural crèche calls for donation support

WITH an ever growing number of children under her supervision, Funani Mchunu, founder of Sokhaya Crèche in KwaMthethwa Reserve, is appealing to local sponsors to assist with various much-needed donations.

The crèche currently caters for 79 children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years and is still functioning thanks to the help of various sponsors over the past six years.

But an increase in numbers has left Funani no choice but to expand her floor space.
